Today Iโm sharing what I bring to every wedding in my Wedding Day Emergency Kit. I believe in doing all that I can to best serve my couples and their families + wedding parties, so being prepared with a few items that may help save the day and take some stress off of them is a must for me! I am constantly adding to this list as I see a need for it. This is a great list for brides + photographers both to make sure they are fully prepared, you just never know what could happen!
Scissors
used at almost every wedding!
Spray Deodorant
hygienic in case multiple people need to use it
Lint Roller
to make sure everyone’s dresses look their best
Hair Spray
you can never have enough of this
Bobby Pins
used for so many things beyond just for pinning back hair!
Bug Spray
we live in Florida, enough said!
Sunscreen
ditto ๐
Hand Sanitizer
my number one thing I can’t go anywhere without
Tide-To-Go
spills can happen anytime!
Nail File- duh!
Lotion
in case someone forgets to moisturize or for dry skin in cold weather
Tums
because you never know ๐
Mints
fresh breath is a must. Especially before the first look!
Floss
you never know how much you need this until you DON’T have it
Contact Rewetting Drops
for me + any other contact lens wearers that may need it
Ibuprofen/Advil
for headaches, pain, etc.
Sewing Kit
duh!
First-aidย Kit
hope we never have to use this but we have it just in case
Bandaids
mainly used for blisters ๐
Blister Stick
for preventing friction + blisters
Feminine Products
well, you just never know when someone may need this!
Tissues
for all the tears shed, blotting makeup, etc.
Brush/Comb
for the obvious ๐
Rubber Bands
one of those things I have just in case. Never know how you might use them.
Pens
for my assistant to check things off as we go, and it’s always good to have a few on hand
Quick Snacks
oftentimes protein bars, pretzels, etc. Not messy snacks for on-the-go or in case someone needs a little pick me up!
Water
because hydration is key!
Wooden Hanger
in case a bride forgets a pretty hanger for her dress
Umbrellas
Even if it’s not forecasted to rain, because, Florida ๐
Rain Jacket
The easiest way to keep myself dry while shooting in the rain
Rain Boots

Extra Change of Clothes + Shoes
You never know- spills happen!
Backup Equipment
always, always, always!
Extra Batteries
Camera batteries + flash batteries
