A Rustic Classy Southern Georgia Pebble Hill Plantation Wedding | Amanda + Thomas
What a GORGEOUS wedding!
This day was a perfect blend of Southern elegance, rustic, woodsy, and classic charm. Amanda + Thomas (and Sophie Lynn!) are SO incredibly special to me. I began photographing this family a few years ago, and they went from clients to friends quickly. There’s something about spending the entire wedding day with my couples that makes me love them even more!
Sophie Lynn was SO excited to be a flower girl for mommy + daddy’s wedding!
This sweet girl loved getting to surprise daddy with HER very own dress! Seeing the joy on her face throughout the day brought so many smiles to my face. She spent some special girl time with mommy, pampering and getting ready together. We took some sweet pictures of her in mommy’s wedding dress- something I can’t wait for her to look back on when she becomes a bride one day. ❤
Being asked to photograph their wedding was such a huge honor and not something I took lightly.
I knew this day was going to be full of all kinds of emotions for Amanda, especially. Tears of joy, laughter, and some emotional tears. Amanda honored her best friend Courtney’s memory beautifully. There was no one that could take the place of being her Maid of Honor. A beautiful table for Courtney was right by Amanda’s side. I can’t think of a more heartfelt and sweet way to honor her. ❤
It’s absolutely amazing that we only got a few sprinkles of rain when the meteorologists had been forecasting “severe thunderstorms” with possible tornadoes for a week before the wedding. We were prepared with backup plans, but Amanda + Thomas were able to have their ceremony under the big oak tree, which was so special to them!
Hostetter Family, I love you guys SO much and I hope you enjoy reliving your amazing day while you’re honeymooning in the MOUNTAINS!
xoxo,
Amber
Cue the tears just imagining Sophie on her own wedding day as a bride!
Four beautiful generations. What a special memory made that day!
Meet Maddie Jane, the newest member of the Hostetter family 😊 Yep, Thomas’s wedding present to Amanda was a PUPPY! Y’all, how do you even top this?! The CUTEST! And she is just oh so precious!

What is a rustic classic wedding without the bride and a horse! I swear the horse was posing!
I MEAN, this girl is STUNNING! A true rustic classic wedding dream bride!
Sophie made this just for mommy’s bouquet. I am a sucker for handmade gifts and this is one of the sweetest EVER.
Amanda included a sunflower in honor of Courtney, it was her favorite flower. Just another special way she included her on her wedding day. <3
This first look Amanda shared with her grandfather was one of the most emotional I’ve ever photographed. I was shooting through watery eyes!
<3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 Carla is one of my sweet friends + past ABP brides! 🙂 Always love seeing friends + past couples at weddings!
If you can’t tell from this last photo, I love this bride! I love working with sweet couples and I think it’s so important to choose a photographer you’ll love! Check out my post about choosing a photographer for your big day!
