A Bricks + Brass Wedding Filled With Sweet Surprises
I loved Chelsea + Alwayne from the start.
One of the first things I learned after a few minutes of meeting this sweet couple was just how much their families meant to them. Chelsea told me over and over how much I would adore everyone, and she was absolutely right. I was so excited when I arrived at Bricks and Brass on the wedding day to finally get to meet everyone they had been telling me about! I knew it would be effortless to capture the bond + love between them.
The day went so smoothly and both Chelsea + Alwayne were so relaxed! They are both so wonderful, laid back, and make you feel so welcome and loved. Their ceremony was beautiful. Chelsea’s dream to have an orchestra at her wedding came true 😊 We headed to Bricks and Brass after the ceremony for an incredible reception! The vibe was cozy, elegant, and SO. MUCH. FUN!
The newlyweds walked out on the dance floor for their first dance and Chelsea had a HUGE surprise for Alwayne.
Royce Lovett who is a friend of theirs (you may recognize him from The Voice!) graced everyone with his amazing talent. I seriously got chills during their first dance!
When it was time for the dancing, Chelsea returned to the reception with yet another surprise for everyone!
The bottom half of her dress was detachable and she was wearing custom Converse with her new name and wedding date on them (to match the wedding colors of course!) This was so fitting for Chelsea- she’s absolutely stunning and glamorous, but if you know Chelsea, you know she is also super athletic- she’s a basketball coach! One of the things I love most about her is that she’s so well rounded and has all of the best attributes!
Although I’m sad their wedding day has come and gone because I am seriously going to miss these two so much. They were a joy to work with, but I know I will see them again 😊
Enjoy some of the highlights from your perfect day, Mr. and Mrs. Muir!
xoxo,
Amber
Chelsea’s TWIN brother walked her down the aisle! My heart!
I was amazed at how many of Chelsea’s Delta Sigma Theta sorority sisters came to celebrate with them! I really enjoyed watching the ladies sing and dance together! They are amazing!
