Our baby boy is ONE! This past year has been the most amazing, rewarding, and joyful year of my life. It certainly hasn’t been a cakewalk, and I’m the first to admit mommin’ is HARD, and it certainly takes a village. (And I seriously have the best in the world!)
As Beckett’s birthday approached, my emotions were all over the place (hello, hormones!) As excited as I was, I realized that my little boy is now a toddler, and as much as you try to soak up every moment, it still goes faster than you can even imagine. It was a whirlwind week of happy tears and sad tears, but most of all, celebrating our happy, smiley, bald baby boy!
My husband, Chad, loves golfing, so we thought it would be fun and fitting to have a golf themed party. Beckett’s Hole-in-One Par-Tee it was! Thank goodness for Pinterest! 😉 I had so much fun looking up golf puns for the food signs (even though I don’t really understand golf terms!) We kept the menu simple for simplicity and it was perfect!
We celebrated with our closest family and friends at a small get together at our house. We didn’t want anything extravagant, just a simple and fun par-tee! Speaking of my village, I couldn’t have pulled this party off without their help planning, decorating, hosting, and organizing! A huge thank you to my besties and sister in law for making this happen!
Beckett is most certainly my child; he’s not a fan of getting messy and dirty, so he wasn’t too sure about his smash cake 😉 He wasn’t having it, so we traded it for a smaller cupcake and he dug in a little once he realized how delicious it tasted! (But we went straight to the bath as soon as he was done, haha!)
We are so grateful for all of the family and friends who love our baby and came to celebrate, especially those who had to travel for the party. Cheers to ONE!
